I was an emotional wreck when the process started and speaking to them at the time felt very raw and painful. But, especially for the children, it was far less traumatic and drawn out than I imagine legal methods would have been. By the end of it all, me and my ex-husband were able to have conversations and we’ve got a really good relationship now – which, again, is good for the kids and the best possible outcome from such a horrible time.
Just wanted to thank you for navigating me and 'A' through some really difficult issues. Your involvement has brought us all to a place we couldn't have reached without your help. Many thanks.
I just wanted to leave a message to say a Thank you to the lady on the front desk, I was welcomed with a lovely smile and a friendly, kind professional service. She is a credit to your Mediation service.
By the time we came back the second time, really the problems had been solved at the first meeting. And from then on it was much smoother too - it sounds almost miraculous - but emotionally it became much less fraught.
...I think the beauty of it was [the mediators] let you make your own decisions. They weren't forcing their opinions on you. They were just giving you another side of an argument perhaps. They were exposing the whole thing so you could look at it logically.
